The test build is not the same install you keep for launch on Steam.
PURPLE is an official test platform alongside Steam. Install/update PURPLE before the window, sign in with the NC account you plan to use, and use the AION 2 test entry when pre-download opens. NC specifically says PURPLE players have no extra uninstall step after the test.
Steam lists 100 GB of available storage for the main Global client and recommends an SSD. The current Steam Playtest depot snapshot is about 80.42 GiB to download, but it is not a final retail-client promise. Track AION 2 download size →
No. The Launch Scale Test is open to everyone and Founder’s Pack items are disabled during the test. Packs matter for five-day Advance Access beginning September 30, not for access to the LST.
